A native New Yorker and lifelong fan of both comics and horror movies, Frank studied fine arts and graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He has been a staff illustrator for The Indypendent newspaper since 2003, and the paper's art director since 2004.

His illustrations and cartoons have appeared in numerous publications including NACLA Report on the Americas, Clamor Magazine, Impact Press, Altar Magazine, IndyKids, The Bridge, WIN Magazine and $pread Magazine.

Frank debuted at New York's MoCCA Fest 2007 with the surreal comic Whither Him and two collections of irreverent cartoons, Bastard Eye and Vanilla. He illustrated the nightmarish comic Buenas Noches written by James Spruill. Frank's humor anthology, Saucy, will debut at MoCCA Fest 2009.

On Thursdays, he drinks with the House of Twelve crew at their secret midtown location.
